Trama del film:

Johnny Smith has been leading an idyllic small-town life. Employed as a science teacher, Johnny takes great pleasure in showing his young students the wonders of the natural world. He is also newly-engaged to a loving fiancée named Sarah, a fellow teacher he's known since childhood, and is a good son to his widowed mother, who lives nearby. Johnny's life is nearly perfect – until the day his life is interrupted by a near-fatal car crash that leaves him in a deep coma. Six years later, Johnny finally regains consciousness and discovers that life as he once knew it has completely changed. His mother has passed away, and Sarah has gone on to marry someone else – and now has a son. But Johnny himself is also not the same person he once was: he now finds himself in possession of amazing psychic powers which allow him to see into the lives of anyone he touches. Now, as Johnny attempts to reacquaint himself with a life he has been away from for six long years, he must also begin a quest to come to terms with his new abilities – abilities that may turn out to be both a blessing and a curse. Helping Johnny make a fresh start are his physical trainer Bruce, who also becomes a close friend; his mother's priest, Gene Purdy, who sets up a trust fund for Johnny but may not be looking out for Johnny's best interests; and Sarah, who must find a way to make Johnny a part of her life again without risking her relationship with her husband and son. Johnny Smith had the perfect life. Until he was in coma for six years. When he awoke, he found his fiance married to another man. His son doesn't know who he is. Everything's changed. Including Johnny. One touch, he can see things. Things that have happened. Things that will happen. You should see what he sees. Written by James <[email protected]>

When we last left Johnny Smith(Anthony Michael Hall) he spent an intimate
night with Sarah Bannerman(Nicole De Boer)

And at a political rally he shook hands with political candidate Greg
Stillson(Sean Patrick Flanery) in which Johnny saw the future and saw
Stillson as President and the end of the world.

Season 2 finds Johnny obsessing on how to stop Stillson, he must find
something on him to end his career.

Johnny and Sarah haven’t really spoke since the night they spent

Johnny though still has feelings for Sarah.

Sarah’s husband Sheriff Walt Bannerman(Chris Bruno) doesn’t know what
happened between Johnny and his wife, but this season there is a bit more
    tension between Johnny and Walt.

Also back is Bruce Lewis(John L. Adams) who everynow and then accompanies
Johnny to help him with his visions.

Also back is Rev Eugene Purdy(David Ogden Stiers) and Dana Bright(Kristen

New to the cast is Jim Francis as Sonny Elliman who is one of Stillson’s
henchman, though Sonny is pretty bad nowhere near as evil as he was in the
    Stephen King novel.

Like Season 1 The Dead Zone is at it’s best when all the characters are
    involved in the plot.

Once again Anthony Michael Hall and John L. Adams are the

Most of the best episodes were the ones in which Johnny and Bruce team

I thought Season 2 was gonna focus a lot on Johnny and Greg Stillson, but
The Producers didn’t over do it, they did it just enough to keep you wanting

As great as Season 1 was i feel Season 2 was better.

In an episode titled Playing God Anthony Michael Hall is reunited with
former brat-pack member Ally Sheedy in what just might have been the best
episode of the season and of the series.

I give The Dead Zone Season 2 9/10
